INSPA is a national contest which encourages young creatives in primary level education to create striking visual images by engaging with both digital technology and the creative process.

INSPA aims to inspire and ignite passion in students, increase engagement in the digital arts within primary level education, while at the same time, educating them about the importance of the creative process.

INSPA gives Ireland's young people the unique opportunity to develop new and creative visual images and a platform to showcase their individual creative potential. INSPA supports budding Irish creatives and would like to wish the very best of luck to all contestants as they start their creative journeys.

The awards themselves are funded through our #INSPAsmiles School Photography Fundraising Days. Therefore, we look forward to working in this capacity with all finalist and winning schools.

How it works.

The competition is launched annually in September. Students along with their teachers are challenged to create striking and engaging images to submit to the competition. All entries must be uploaded via the INSPA website. To avoid disappointment, make sure you have activated your school's account well in advance of submitting your students' entries. Your school can participate in the INSPA’s by entering a photograph from each student in the school or as little as one photograph from a single student. Only one photograph per student is allowed. Make sure you have read the full rules of entry before uploading your entries.

The next step involves the judges whittling the submitted photographs into a finalist list. All schools who have entries that are successful in making it into the final will be notified by email. All prizes and certificates will be sent to the schools of all finalists and winners. To see the list of extensive prizes please visit the prizes section of our website.
